Challenge

A customer from the food industry was modernizing a production line and required drives for meat mixers capable of handling demanding continuous operation and high loads.

Solution

As part of the development of the Motovario MAC Premium Gearbox Assembly Centre, the assembly of two drives based on Motovario HPL planetary gearboxes, model HPL 180, was prepared and initiated. The solution was selected with consideration for the application parameters, durability requirements and compatibility with the specific machine.

Result

• completion of the first order involving large HPL planetary gearboxes,
• implementation of the solution in a food industry application,
• development of the assembly centre’s capabilities in handling demanding industrial drives,
• preparation for the fulfilment of further orders.
